I'm AbdulAziz.
I'm trying to be better.
I'm a 24-year-old Arabic native speaker documenting my real journey of reading more, learning English, and building a more intentional life. I write here and make videos on YouTube.
"I'm not here to teach from the top. I'm growing in public, and I want to share what I learn along the way."
How I got here.
The quiet beginning
I started keeping a reading journal. Nothing fancy — just a notebook where I wrote what I was reading and what I thought about it. That tiny habit changed everything.
Learning English, for real
I decided to stop half-learning English and commit seriously. I started reading books in English, watching videos with subtitles, and writing daily. It was humbling and exciting.
Going public
I launched the YouTube channel and this blog. It was terrifying. Still is. But there's something powerful about learning out loud — it holds you accountable and connects you with people who are on the same journey.
Still going
Still reading, still writing, still making videos. I've started exploring travel and bigger life experiences. The mission stays the same: document honestly, share freely, keep improving.
A small shelf of big books.
The book that made habits feel possible.
Taught me what focused effort actually means.
Read it in Arabic. Cried. Read it again in English.
Changed how I see every decision I make.
The most important book I've ever read.
Completely changed how I read and write.
Four quiet principles.
Learn in public
Share what you're learning, even when you're unsure. The act of sharing forces clarity. And you'll find people who needed to hear exactly that.
Progress over perfection
Perfectionism is procrastination in disguise. A published imperfect essay beats a polished one that never gets written.
Honest over impressive
I'd rather tell you what I actually think and feel than impress you with something polished. Honesty is harder and more valuable.
Slow is sustainable
Real growth is almost always slow. I'm not trying to go viral or change in 30 days. I'm trying to be slightly better every week, for years.
Welcome to the journey.
If you're also trying to be better — you're in the right place.
